The woman looks as if she is sleeping very deeply. The painting as a whole gives me the feeling that she feels very safe with her guardian pussycat. And her face brings back memories of the people in your family I knew growing up. Thank you so much for sharing this lovely piece of work with me!

I love the composition. The almost mythic quality of the woman with a cat coming out of her head. Peaceful, on one level, and mysterious and compelling on another, as the woman sleeps and the cat watches.
